Flora Stevenson primary school was first opened in 1902. The school has a state-of-the-art nursery, which has two classrooms, an office, a meeting room and a very well-equipped outdoor play area. The school is on three floors with the hall in the middle. Each floor has a balcony which looks out into the hall. The school has 18 classrooms, dining hall, library, computer suite, television room and two learning support rooms. The Edinburgh music school is also located in the school grounds. There is an after-school club that offers a range of exciting activities includingarts and crafts, table tennis, outdoor games, circus activities, table top games, book corner, imaginative play, various outings and much more. The school aims to create a caring and secure environment in which each member of the school community feels happy, confident and valued.
