South Morningside is a non-denominational primary school. It was opened in September 1892 and underwent extensive alteration and modernisation in 1976. There are four levels in the building. The school building is made up of classrooms and halls as well as a dedicated library and computer suite. The school also offers various clubs including breakfast club, chess club and football club. The school aims to create a positive ethos and sense of community, where individuals feel valued and relationships are based upon mutual respect and care for the well being of others.
